Lantern's Got Talent

On 14 August 2013 the first ever Lantern’s Got Talent Competition was held at Lantern School. It was decided that the Grade 4 – 7 learners will compete in one section and the Grade 8 – 11 learners in another. The categories were individual and group acts. It was a lovely evening with various talents being shown off. After 22 performances it was time for the winners to be announced.

 

The winners from Grades 4 – 7:
1st Place: Chrystal-Ann Mogase who sang Diamonds.
2nd Place: Annamarie Kriek who sang Pleister Vir My Hart.
3rd Place:Tiisetso, Angel and Moyo with a dance performance.

The winners from Grades 8 – 11:
1st Place: Philiso Ndogeni who sang You Raise Me Up.
2nd Place: The Outsiders.
3rd Place: Lemarque May & Yvaan Reid – dancing.
