Welfare

At Lantern School, the Welfare Committee is dedicated to supporting our learners’ well-being and addressing their needs, while also reaching beyond the school to make a positive impact in the wider community. We strive to provide care and practical assistance, working in collaboration with NGOs to extend our outreach initiatives.

The committee, headed by Joanne Rossouw and supported by our social worker, Cassandra Janklaas, together with the dedicated members, works to ensure that learners are nurtured in a compassionate environment where their holistic growth and dignity are valued.

At Lantern School, we care for both our learners and the community, running drives throughout the year and supporting learners through various initiatives.
